Question:

How do make my aftermarket car alarm trunk open turn on my auxiliary lights?

(Viper responder 350) the alarm comes with an extra wire to connect to an aux like a trunk release. Id like to hook it up to turn on my aux lights so I can turn them on and on and off via the remote. The lights are connected to a 4 pin relay (positive and negative input to the relay activates the flow for the aux lights positive from the battery) The aux signal wire from the alarm says negative. If it was a positive output I could just plug the wire after my switch to the relay. How do I connect it?

Answer:

I would check the voltage polarity of the alarm that says negative. It would have to have an isolation transformer in the alarm to generate a negative output and I doubt the alarm has this for an isolated output. By the way, the specs say this doesn't have remote trunk pop.
Use the / button from your keyboard for speed brakes. f2 is reverse thrust only. I use a joystick button for flap deployment, but f7 extends them incrementally and f6 retracts.
