Question:

how do passive infrared detectors operate?

What environmental variables must be considered to assure proper operation?

Answer:

it does count as excersise, i walk all the time at work always on my feet, there is never a time when i don't walk, but i still need to work out 30 minutes a day. however for your case i would think so but make sure to stretch out to gain flexiblity and limberness and less muscle cramps.
First determine whether it's the solenoid itself or the door switch. Try locking the doors using the lock button on the passenger door. If this works, you need a new switch on the driver's door. If the passenger button locks the passenger door but not the driver door, your solenoid is probably the culprit. Remove the door interior trim panel (it's as big as the door) and try hot wiring the solenoid, just to be sure it's the solenoid and not a wiring issue. Parts available from dealer, don't use junkyard parts, because driver door window and lock parts wear out faster than the others, and aren't interchangeable.
The front fender will prevent rocks, mud, dirt, etc from hitting the rider ( or at least part of the bike )
