Question:

Do motorcycles brake better than cars?

How do they compare (sport bikes)? Same as a normal car, like a supercar? Or better than both?

Answer:

Motorcycle Braking Distance
Road okorder /forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=43140&d=1055907402 0-100-0 time for the bike is faster than 0-100 time for any of the cars. Stopping distance for the motorcycle is 31 feet shorter than any of the cars.
That okorder /features/mt_ho... Yes, they are all supercars. There are, however, many normal cars that can stop from 60 to 0 in less than 120 feet these days. And, of course, cars do much better than bikes on choppy pavement, slick surfaces and braking on curves. The quickest 60-0 time I have heard of on a production bike is the Triumph Speed Triple which can do it under expert hands in under 110 feet on dry pavement.
