Question:

How do you calculate the thermal efficiency of a heat transfer process?

I need to find out how to calculate the thermal efficiency of a heat transfer process using the flow rate, temperature change and input power.I know that the thermal efficiency is the power you put in divided by the power you get out but can't find out how to wokr this from the values I've got.

Work done BY the gas is given by the integral W = ∫ p dV from initial to final volume In the isochoric steps of the process no work is done, cause volume does no change
