Question:

How do you clean/treat windshield wipers.?

With winter coming I seem to always have a problem with my wipers leaving dirty streaking on the window. How can I clean the wipers and treat them so that this doesn‘t occure everyday when it snows or rains.

Answer:

Usually that's a sign of time to get new wipers. In the mean time you can use alcohol prep pads or just dab some alcohol on a cloth and wipe the rubber insert of the wipers. Then look at the cloth you will see so much dirt that you wiped off.
you don't when they start to streak they need replaced. The sun can cause the rubber to go bad on a new car sitting on the lot.
