Question:

How do you make a smoke detector less sensitive?

Every time the oven door is opened after preheating, the smoke detector will go off. Basically anytime the oven door is opened after the oven is turned on makes the smoke alarm go off. Some advice please.

Answer:

I don't have hunting dogs, but the orangecoat might be a good idea, I would focus more on the little dog coats, 5% of big dog owners do coats, 80% of little dog owners do coats.
Boots . Lower leg and ankle are the most common injuries suffered by bikers. Even things like stones and gravel thrown up from the road can hurt and injure your feet and ankles if not wearing boots. I don't even want to imagine sliding down the road only wearing running shoes with a foot trapped underneath the bike.
Gortex is another superb bike gear material but not cheap but, mine is 30 + years old still fits 'mostly' never leaked, and can be machine washed on low temp programmes. Worth a look and if it does what you want it's up to you. If you do buy your not likely to need any other 'gear' for many years. The gortex suits are also great for winter walking as it breathes as you get warmer.
Welcome to riding and have fun, that's what it's all about. Seriously . . . . a rider's course. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and take one, they really are worth the time and effort. But for personal protective gear, no one rides with me without long pants, boots and a jacket, and make sure your helmet has eye protection or wear some sort of goggles. A beetle or bee at 60 MPH will take out an eye instantly.
kevlar/ leather pants and jacket are really a must you want them with integrated CE-rated armor at the elbows, shoulders, spine, and knees, but if you can't afford armored gear at least get something road rash resistant think of it this way: if you get in a wreck with only a jacket, all you're doing is preserving the skin on your upper body to be grafted to your legs what you really want for a complete set is: armored jacket, armored pants, boots, gloves, and helmet and if you do some shopping around and check out used stuff (craigslist, etc) you can probably get all that for under $300 i spent about $450 on mine and bought it all new in store with some higher quality brands note: the one thing you don't ever want to buy used is a helmet- you don't have any idea what it's been through! even if there's no visible damage or scratching to indicate an accident, helmets break down in other ways over time; the padding will wear in and be less supportive, the inner foam will break down from sweat/ humidity, and the outer shell will be broken down and become brittle over time from UV exposure
