How do you transform an attic into a room?

First off I would like to thank you for whoever will answere my question with great detailI jsut bought my first house with my wife and I have a BIG atticI have done my research on the internet but I cant find anything on quot; How Toquot; My ceiling is at least 7 feet high and at one end of the attic their is a ladder going up to a quot;loftquot; wich also you can stand up in and have the attic ceiling at least 7 foot high but it is higher than the other part of the atticIt looks like a regualr attic with cheap insulation (the torn apart kind) some bbeams and wires to fans and lightsEverything up their is mostly professionaly done ( a builder previously owned it) and also I looked at it and it looked like their use to be a cut out for a big windowWhat do I need to consider in this possible transformation and wha aerr the steps in doing this? If you want to answere this Question by using another website (copy and paste) thats would be coolId like it cheaply done but not a hazordThank you

Answer:

Well some things to consider would be the age of the house and were you are located, many building codes will want you to bring the whole house up to the current code if you do additions or extensive remodelsDoes the house have smoke detectors? That window may have been a gable openingDo you have a set of the original house plans that you can take to the city and ask about what you plan to do? If the space is structurally sound enough to build out it may not be an issue, For some reason whenever anyone ask about construction they want cheap, that is not a good mixWhen I hear the word cheap it makes me think of unsafe or substandardGood Luck
oooo i seen the blain wich project! and i herd of the others but never got to see them yetheres some names: the death house/the dead house darkness of the dead in the dark darkness kills the evil house the sinnister house evil approaches the nightmere house darkness awaits lingering with death the erry house
