Ditch the retractable leash. Get a very short one. Obviously you cannot control your dog while on a walk, so until you learn to do so, keep him right beside you. Besides, those flexi-leads are dangerous to you, to your dog, and mostly to other pedestrians. Then, get your dog into some training classes. Your dog should never be permitted to jump up on someone or someone's possessions. Your dog's bloodlines are no guarantee that he is a suitable stud. He should not be studded unless/until he has been shown and titled. And, if he's uncontrollable on a lead, THAT ain't gonna happen.

However, I've seen numerous cases where I work where an individual has been fired, he files suit and usually ends up with a settlement. The courts have basically said there must be a cause to terminate one's employment.
