Question:

How does heat from inside a boiler reach the wall behind a radiator?

Please help :( in terms of conduction, radiation etc (:

Answer:

Hot water from a boiler travels through a pipe to the radiator, goes through, and returns to the boiler in a complete circuit. A pump is used to make the hot water move. The radiator has a larger surface area than the pipe delivering the water, so there is opportunity for heat exchange with the air surrounding the radiator.
