Question:

How does laptop coolers work?

I bought a hp laptop recently.and i like playing games in it.the laptop remains stable during normal works.but when i play games it over heats.so i am thinking of trying to use a laptop cooler?so i wanna know, how does it work actually?does it drain the energy from the usb or needs a external energy source?

Answer:

Laptop coolers are mostly USB power,, they suck up cold air and blow it towards the bottom intake fan of your laptop. Now most laptop cooling fans are not really sufficient, they will lower you CPU core temps by 2-7 degrees Celsius your laptop wont burn out as long as you don't play games on a surface where the intake fan will be blocked, like your bed for instance And all the new laptops have many temperature sensors inside, so if you laptop gets close to overheating, your laptop will either freeze or restart but if you still want a laptop cooler, buy a Coolermaster or one of the known brandnames
