Question:

How does the axles pop loose from a focus transmission?

Hi we have a 2000 model Ford focus and were wondering how do the axles pop loose from the transmission?

Answer:

Theres probably a c clamp holding them in.
Once you have unattached the steering knuckle and the axle from it, use a pry bar and place it between the axle shaft and the trans-axle housing. pry real quick on the axle outwards, and it should just pop out.
