How does the loudspeaker sound?
Right click on the lower right corner of the small speaker to select the playback device to see if there is no disabled playback device.
No sound may be driven by the problem, re-install the sound card driver, there may be you put the playback device disabled.
First try to plug in the headset to see if there is no sound, the sound may be bad speakers.
