How does thunder set of car alarms?

Answer:

Like what Tim and Jase said. The new pads need to bed into the contour of the disc When you fit new pads a tip is to rough up the face with some sand paper and lightly chamfer the pad leading edge to help prevent squeaks
New pads need wearing in, to be as close to the brake disc as possible, New pads are quite thick but they'll bed in to achieve this
It is the sound wave and the sensitivity of the alarm. Hope this helps. Respectfully, BK
whll thunder makes large shockwaves strong enough to shake a car enough to set off its alarm some times fire works do to.
car alarms are sensitive to sounds and movement. If the thunder is loud and powerful enough the sound of the thunder is enough to be picked up by a car. Ive seen some peoples car alarms be activated by fireworks also.
