Question:

How is oil extracted from the ground and then processed into a fuel that can run a machinery?

please help.

Answer:

it is refined and processed
this is an extremely complex task. It is also very dependent on the site. I will try to give you a quick rundown. Geologists for an oil company decide that a certain site is ideal for oil production and they bargain with the landowners for drilling rights. Next, the oil company submits their data to drilling companies to get a rig to drill to where they think there will be oil. The drilling company drills to the depth and sets the appropriate casing and tubing to produce where the geologists think there may be oil. Production specialists are then called in to fracture the well in all the places that are thought to produce oil. this allows the oil to flow into the casing and tubing and produce valuable fuels. These fuels are pipelined into local refineries to produce fuels that are marketable for industrial or public use such as diesel, gasoline, heating oils, waxes, plastics, etc. From the refineries, these products are transported to gas stations, plastic/wax/grease producers, etc. via pipelines and trucks. this is where the fuels can be used by consumers for lubrication, fuel, or even plastics manufacturing.
