In a nutshell: * Prices of the two fuels fluctuate with politics and supply/demand. - If I had to bet on availability and price stability in the near term, (next few years), I'd bet on gas. * Municipal Utility gas is more dependable, no delivery hassles. * Hporto's got it right on efficiency. Here a few tips: 1. ALWAYS keep your betta fish's habitat clean. That means replace the water, clean / replace the rocks. Replace any live plants periodically before they decompose. 2. NEVER overfeed your fish. Fish have very tiny stomachs, no bigger than their eyeballs. 3. DO feed your fish a variety of foods. Bettas are carnivours and love to feed on brine shrimp, bloodworms, insect larvae, etc. But basic food pellets are a must as well. 4. Keep the temperature of the water warm at a constant 70 to 80 degrees fahrenheit. 5. DO NOT house your male betta with other males. 6. Don't fill the tank all the way to the top if you have an open cover. There are many cases where betta fish have leapt out of the tanks. 7. It's okay to put a mirror up to your fish tank once in a while to give your male betta some exercise. (Males are territorial and will fight other male bettas to the death if they come in contact with one.)
If you love, wear a glove. Condoms safe sex.
Play it safe. It's the right choice!
