How long should I cook this piece of meat on the pan to get it medium/well?

(i.ea little pink in the middle, but brown most way through)It is an Angus Sirloin steak, a little over inch thick and 6 inches long.Also, my friend suggested using beef stock cubes to flavour it how do I use these to flavour the steak? Are stock cubes nice?Thanks.GOD bless.
