Hey ian.223 and 5.56 are the same thingsBUT you shouldnt fire 5.56 in a gun chambered in .223 because the cases are a slight bit differentLong story short a gun chambered in 5.56 will shoot both .223 and 5.56 but the .223 wont be as accurate a gun chambered in .223 will still fire 5.56 but its not good for the gun and a gun with a .223 wylde chamber will fire both about equally Thats an ok price, $700-$730 is IMHO a better deal(saw them here locally for that price)
