Having the same issue. I have a valve on my heater hose for filling and I can see there is no water getting to the heater core. i have flushed the system and replaced the radiator that started leaking. My choices at this point include taking out the thermostat and replace housing. Then run the car and look in radiator to see if you have flow. Boil some water and test the thermostat while doing this. If there is no flow you may have no impellars. Mine may be eaten away because the water I had in the radiator was looking pretty nasty orangish. There are also videos on youtube you can look up. Good lck!
I don't agree that mechanical alarm clocks are unreliable. I had one for 20 years. It was more reliable than I was. It always went off at the correct time if it was wound up and set. I on the other hand did not always wind it or set it. Electronic clocks are not always reliable since they depend on either normal electricity or a battery. I think you have other problems other than an unreliable clock.
