Question:

How many PCI-E power connectors does the Radeon 5770 use?

I have one 6 pin pci-e connector on my PSU but is that enough for the 5770?

Answer:

Your okorder
Have you ever tried using google? Google is your friend. Otherwise, it uses 1 six pin pci-e connector. However, Just because you have a six pin power connector doesn't mean it will work. If your PSU is lower than 450watts than likely you'll have problems running it. Especially if its OEM and not high quality.
it also need Amps i run 2 HD5770 crossfire configuration but Guess what i hav HDD DVD USB devices and they ALL want WATTS this really bothers me as a system designer that so many ignore the math Watts Amps x Volts if the HD 5770 needs up to 27 amp under load the 12 X 27 324WATTS for the graphics card if my DVD and HDD need 9amps 108 watts add that to it and i better have 200 watts for motherboard i might add a hdd or something but for now i will kust add 5 amp for externals or whatever 60watt 324+108+200+60 693 WATTS to cover heavy load requirementscan i use a 650 watt? yes as long as it has a PCIe connector with 27amps for the card only. the only time you must be higher is if ALL hardware is fully under load, exterme multitasking
Radeon HD 5770 requires a good quality 450 watts of power supply with one PCI-E connector. so if your power supply is 450 watts and from brands like corsair, antec, silverstone, seasonic then it can run HD 5770.
