Answer:

If the material soft bottom be slightly smaller, so hard to be slightly larger. As the aluminum tapping hole to drill small, alloy steel tapping will be slightly larger. M5 has a pitch of 0.8, so use 5-0.8=4.2's drill. The pitch is 1.5 M10, normal use 8.5 bit, if 8.3 words may be used as the material of soft, normal bit will lead to larger hole.
The drill diameter (i.e. threaded hole diameter) = diameter of screw - pitch
The diameter of the drill is usually marked at the drill handle. If it is not marked, it should be measured with a measuring device. M5*20 5.5 screw drilling hole is played, not the threaded hole.
