My car alarm quit working. Well, my remote to my car alarm quit working so I can‘t shut off the alarm. If I try to get into my car or drive it the alarm just keeps going off over and over again. I just want it disabled entirely because the alarm is more hassle than it is worth. I don‘t know how to do it myself and there is no way to find that info online so I want to know how much it is going to cost me to have a mechanic just remove all of the alarm stuff. Any mechanics out there, please help!!
Make/model? Aftermarket or OEM? All of these are variables that will determine how difficult, and how costly it will take to remove the alarm. It will probably be easier/simpler to figure out how to simply disable it and stop it from rearming.
How can one tell if there car has a manufacturer car alarm or aftermarket? I did not see any thing under the hood that resembled alrm components but I don't know. All responses are much appreciated. Thanks
