Question:

how much does repti carpet cost?

i am getting a leo gecko and i dont know what do get so is reti carpet fine or?

Answer:

yeah that's not a good idea reptile sand is allot better
DON'T USE SAND until they are a certain age or size. they eat the sand and can get sick. Reptile carpet is good for if they are sick, but look at the bark or the jungle bedding. Those will do better if it is small or young. Typically they are about 7.99 - 14.99 depending on how much you get.
Repti-Carpet is ok. But it's way overpriced. It's about 10-15$ for a 3ft square peice. When you can go to lowes, and get the SAME indoor/outdoor carpet for 2$ for the same size piece. Leopard geckos also like sand like substrates, or wood chips. They love to burrow, so any substrate they will be able to burrow in they will love. Avoid stuff like cedar, and common wood shavings for like hamsters. As this can cause respiratory infections.
