Question:

How to alter the color of rubber?

i‘m trying to change the color of my motorcycle tires. i know it makes them slicker, i‘m not planning on using a coloring agent that effects the grip of the tire. so please no rude answers i‘ve heard them. if you know a chemical that allows you to add coloring to rubber please let me know.

Answer:

THere is nothing like that in the real world.
Just buy new color tires. I think Innova and Tomahawk make them. Just search color tire you will find em.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing like that There are people that make colored tires, you could buy those if you want, but as far as aftermarket products to color your own tires, I don't think there are any. For a colored tire to work the rubber has to be colored all the way through, anything you apply yourself would only really act on the surface, and that wouldn't work. also, I feel obligated to say that this sounds like a horrible idea. Modern tire compounds are very sophisticated and their chemistry is precisely engineered. Any aftermarket coloring product would screw with that chemistry and is just asking for trouble.
