Question:

How to change the brake system of a Jeep, Cherokee 99-Classical?

I want to know how to change the whole brake system of my SUV (front and rear) I know that the frot and rear systems are different. I want to know how I could do it myself or what place are good to get them done over Orlando, Fl.Thanks!!

Answer:

The brake calipers were corroded before and the shop fixed them for you.
Maybe you had a small amount of air in your brake system before, and now, somehow, it is gone, but what do you mean: There is brake fluid?
You probably had a build up of corrosion on the brake pistons, and while the wheel was off and being changed, the mechanic took off the build up, making your brakes work as intended.
to see even if the brakes work go drive at a cliff and try em!
Buy a chilton or haynes manual. A brake job is fairly simple, and few tools are required. Just follow the steps in the manual, the rear brakes can confuse you if not careful. Best of Luck!
