Question:

How to clean a bathroom rug?

It is just a plain pink bathroom rug, that has like the rubber or whatever on the bottom. But it is dirty and needs cleaned, how can I do this??

Answer:

I put it in the washer and then let it air dry. Comes out nice and fluffy and soft!
Hang it over the line and give it a good brush with a small brush try dampening the brush a little this way it will pull away hairs and bits
like Paul said.... but don't dry it in the dryer... that's too hot and that dries out and cracks the rubber backing... hang it up to dry either outside on a nice day or over the shower rod....
Take to the laundry mat and wash in one of those tumble washers on cold or warm water setting. Dry in dryer but not on the hottest setting. If you dry on the hottest setting in the dryer the rubber backing could melt.
You can put it in the washing machine. Use no hotter than warm water, though, or it could start to melt the rubber backing. Then tumble dry on low heat or let it hang dry. Just realize that this will cause the backing to come off eventually (maybe not the first couple times, but it will eventually). Then you can go get a new rug. If it's just dirt in the rug and it's not soiled, you can also take it out in the back yard and beat it with a stick (hit the top side of it) to remove loose dirt and debris. That's how they used to clean rugs back in the day when they didn't have machines to do it. People would hang their rugs on a clothes line and use a special device that looked like a tennis racket to beat the dirt out of the rugs.
