Question:

How to Connect Linux Mint PC to router through OpenSuse Laptop?

I have a PC [Linux Mint freshly installed] and a Laptop [OpenSuse Linux freshly installed].What I want to do is to connect my PC through my laptop to my router, So I can connect to the Internet through that.I have already managed to connect the laptop to the router using the built-in wireless adapterI want to use a wired connection from my PC to my laptop.I'm having trouble accessing the Internet through the Laptop from my PC.How would I configure the networks in a) My PC [with Linux Mint] and b) Laptop [with OpenSuse], Step-by-step?

Answer:

Your going to have to configure the OpenSuse machine as a router and use the router software to bridge the wireless adapter to the Ethernet portReally, it would be a lot cleaner if you installed a wireless card in the Mint machine, or used a wireless adapter and connect your computer to that via Ethernet Check out the product below
First, I would check with the local building codes to see what their minimum is for a residence and if that clears them then I would get prices from both a modular company as well as a contractor that does stick built homesYou can then decide which way to goI imagine if you are willing to do the finish work yourself, drywall, paint, interior trim, minor work, then your price from a contractor will be a lot cheaper than from a modular companyGood luck, I have also designed and am planning a small home for myself and young son.
