Question:

How to drill holes in seashells, glass, etc. without breaking? Is there a special drill or a trick?

I want to drill tiny holes in my seashells to make a mobile, bigger holes in some glass bottles to make a windchime, pottery, etc etc etc. I don't want to break the whole thing. Can I use any run of the mill drill or would I have to buy a special one, or is there another trick to making holes in these sort of things?Thank you.

Answer:

make sure that your smoke detector is not also a carbon dioxide detector!! while you cant tell the difference in your air your detector could .. take the detector into another room or outside see if its beeping check if the battery you put in is not old worst comes to worst you need to get a new one
Might have been a illusion, and just a reflection of where the lightining really hit
Sometimes you have to test the detector to clear it. Are there other detectors wired to it? You might want to replace those batteries as well.
