Question:

how to get air out of a great bean front end loader?

my front end loader has air in cyclinder and leaks down. it is on a 275 massey ferrergson tractor.

Answer:

find the bleeder nut and loosen it allow the hydraulic fluid to discharge then just tighten the nut
If the cylinder has a bleeder valve, get the valve above any or all other hydraulic lines, open the valve slightly to allow the air to escape. Cycle the loader up and down a couple times and check the valve again to see that all the air has been removed from the system. If a valve is not found you may try what used to work on cylinders that have an automatic bleeding system. Remove both ends of the cylinder from the loader. Place the cylinder in a vertical position with the hydraulic hose / hoses on the top. Move the hydraulic control lever to contract the cylinder, if it is not a two way cylinder you will have to physically contract the cylinder. Then with the hydraulic control lever extend the cylinder to its full length. Repeat this procedure two or three times or more if necessary. Either the valve or the manual approach should bleed the air out of the system.
