I just ordered a 54quot; marble dining room tablethe delivery guys just came by and I had to refuse the shipment because it wouldnt fit up my stairsMy stairs are semi-spiral, but as the dining room table is square and not rectangular, they just couldnt do itI have a deck with a big sliding glass door, and movers have hoisted sofas, etc up before, but marble is SO heavy, it would rip the railing right offIs there any way at all to get it in my apartment or will I be forced to purchase a round marble table? I really, really want this tablearent there cranes or bucket trucks I can use?
L, It's no big dealIf the table is 54 square, it's a small tableit's only 5.5' square2 guys could easily carry that table up your spiral stairsThey just might have to lift carry it up over the railingsYou don't need a crane! Plus, it's only 2 flights of stairsThose delivery guys were frigg'n LAME! Good luck!
