I have an 05' Chevy Colorado stock radio but it doesent have a wiring harness How would I hook this up to a battery without a wiring harness
just were a i pod or boom box
You won't do anything without the plug that connects to the back of this radio. You would need to find a junk 05' Chevy Colorado. Then cut the wiring harness that would go to the radio. Make sure you leave enough wires to splice in to. The rest would be best guess. However, you would need to be careful not to fry the radio trying to figure out the correct wiring order. You could start by looking at the wires that connect to the speakers of this junk truck. The colors should match the colors on your pigtail. From there you would need to figure out hot and ground wires. This will narrow it down. In general hot wires will be red, ground wires will be black, but this isn't for sure.
