Question:

How to make mice tubes???? :)?

I have a plastic container cage I D.I.Y.ed and was thinking of adding a few other D.I.Y.ed plastic containers to the cage but I need some tubes to connect them, I could buy some tubes but I wanted to see if anyone any ideas for cheap D.I.Y. tubes. If you can include links of examples it would be cool but don't worry if you can't. THANKS

Answer:

well, I know you were thinks something that attaches to the walls which I cannot give you. But I can give you something to lay on the ground! Toilet paper tubes, and paper towel tubes! I am sure that you can make your mouse very happy with those for that is what I use, and my mice love it!
i dont know what all those abbreviations are but pex plumbing might be a cheap way to go, not sure.
It would be a lot safer and easier to buy the tubes, even if it is more expensive. Please just buy them, because DIY tubes could be unsuitable, there is always a chance that mice could chew through it or it could break while they're inside it. Sorry I couldn't help much :)
what about plastic vitamin bottles? they are often tube-like? btw, can def show u how to make fun tube hotel out of the core of toilet paper rolls tho... 1. save 3 or more toilet paper roll cores. 2. make some holes on top of the cores so that the mice can climb from one tube to another. 3. get double sided tape (or staple the tubes together if its not sticking) and attach two toilet paper cores together, with the holes on opposite sides of the core so the mice can climb. you can just stack them all together on top of one another and voila! toilet paper core hotels... lol ps. mice loves to chew on things so to grind their teeth to a good length so its perfect for a chew toy too.
