We need a pick a lock. We have bobby pins and paper clips. No wrenches please help.(Hinges on the door are in the inside, can't take them off)
It's not possible to make a low temperature flame. What they do instead is have the stuntperson wear a nomex suit underneath the cowboy uniform. You'll notice they always have long sleeved shirts on. The trick is that the gasoline is on the flannel outer suit, so the skin is never actually close to the fire. The flames radiate outward, not inward toward the skin. It's also possible to add some flame enhancers to the fuel, like those fireplace enhancing chemicals, so the flames look a whole lot brighter than they are hotter. Lately most flames have been done with computer graphics and simple video overlays, which are a lot cheaper and safer than actual stuntpeople on fire.
Your teacher wants all of the students to know that you will be working with equipment that can really hurt you if you do not pay attention to what you are doing or if you act silly and not take safety seriously. Just do all of the safety things your teacher says and pay attention to what you are doing.
If the lock is gone then you should be able to see in there, the rear of the lock was hooked into the actual part that locks and unlocks. If you get a flashlight and look in there you should see a square hole, stick a screw driver in there and give it a turn.
