Question:

How to remove carpet burn marks?

Ok, i'm 14 and was quot;experimentingquot; with fire in my bedroom, i set a piece of paper alight, and was holding it, when it got to the point where i couldn't hold it any longer, i dropped it and stomped it out, then immediately noticed that the paper had kinda quot;fusedquot; with the carpet to create one big mess on the floor, and not need it gone urgently before my parents see! The carpet itself isn't really burnt i guess...

Answer:

carpet it like plastic fibers so it melts. throw a rug over it.
409 Carpet Cleaner. Don't use bleach.
cut the old burnt carpet out but just the top part, not all the way thru the carpet. Go into your closet, in the corner and cut the top fibers out and then take some super glue and lightly spread some glue on the area that you cut out. Then sprinkle the new carpet over the glue and let dry. You'll be just fine. You're just shaving off the top of the bad carpet and going into your closet and shaving off some good carpet to repair what you burned.
