Question:

How to remove ink from carpet?

It started out as a small black printer ink on the carpet. I tried to use WD40, then Jax, now it looks like a giant orange/light black circle! How can I get rid of this? PLEASE HELP ME!

Answer:

Too late.. Jax bleached the carpet and the WD40 put an oil stain on top of that. Usually one would use rubbing alcohol to clean ink. Soak, blot, blot, blot. until clean. Only suggestion I have now is to cut a square chunk of carpet out of your closet (or from a remnant you've saved) that is just larger than your large spot. Lay the square over your spot and use it as a template to cut a matching square out of the offending area. Pull out the piece with the stain. Use carpet tape and put it along the inside edges of the square you just cut out of the carpet field... allow half of the carpet tape to hang And press your new square in. Next time don't panic... Ask first then try to fix.
use Resolve carpet cleaner, it will clean the stain, i use it every time i have stains on my carpet. It works well....
do no longer understand what sort of ink. If ball factor ink attempt spraying hairspray on it and blot sprayed section with sparkling fabric. Take care to no longer smudge or unfold stain. try hidden part of carpet to comprehend if colour quickly earlier doing any stain elimination. Oxyclean is notably solid too reckoning on the kind of ink. the kind of ink might possibly dictate what you used to get rid of it besides as what your carpet is made up of. i might evaluate sort of ink and what the carpet fiber is and then act hence. Hair spray works great on outfits it relatively is polyester and or mixed with cotton. proceed with warning.
