My car is Grand Marquis. I want to remove the water pump. After removing all the bolts on the water pump, it is still there. I tried to hammer it in order to loose it, but it is still there. I use long tool to lever it off, but it is still there. I even break the corners of the water pump, but it is still there. PB Blaster is used, but useless. I am helpless. Can you help me?
It would help to post the year, engine size.
Lock down the pulley so it may no longer turn. eliminate the three bolts by skill of turning them counter-clockwise. Use a six factor field wrech to cut back threat of rounding off the bolt head.
Check if you have all of the bolts removed. Believe the 5.0L has a couple of long bolts in the middle of the pump. You have to mention the year or which motor 4.6L, 5.0L
