I have a main sewer drain pipe going from upstairs to downstairs and just noticed a very slight amount of water beading up around the joint where the cast iron pipe joins a coupler. It looks as if there is a putty of some sort around the fitting sealing it. This material looks old and is starting to become brittle.. This where the water is beading upI am going to chip away at the old material and replace it, but what do I replace it with? Will a regular plumbers putty work? ALL pipes / couplers are cast iron..
try a fire hydrant scene. paint the walls red and yellow get a red or yellow doggie bed and some red and yellow pillows. buy her red or black doggie bowls. see if you can find a picture of those dogs playing poker and hang it on the wall or a picture of a dog on a fire truck. that would be so cute!! also see if you can get some dog prints to put on the wall and some fire hydrants.
