How to select metering pump head?

How to select metering pump head?

Answer:

The manufacturers of chemicals will give relevant recommendations, or consult the ProMinent chemical corrosion chart to determine the compatibility of the chemicals with the contact material.
In metering fluoride, we recommend the use of Viton, sealed PVC pump head. For most chlorination applications, it is better to use EPDM sealed NP (plexiglass) pump head. For hydrogen peroxide mixtures, only PTFE sealed PTFE pump head or stainless steel pump head can be used
When it comes to metering pump heads, the usual problem is when they measure acid, chlorine, fluoride, and hydrogen peroxide. Due to the difference in concentration and operating temperature, it is difficult to determine the specific pump head material.
The main index affecting the selection of the pump head is the composition of the medium to be transported and added, as well as the pressure and the temperature of the external environment
