Question:

How to sew a shank button into several layers of fabric?

I'm making a jacket and need to sew shank buttons onto it, through several layers of fabric, but so that the shank goes through the fabric, not on itDoes anybody know of any ways to make a hole small and sturdy enough to hold shank buttons? Any help is greatly appreciated ^_^

Answer:

No, that's a wives taleIf you want to make your hair grow faster and thicker, try Nioxin shampoo and conditioner (aka Cleanser and Scalp Therapy)Works like a charm.

I've become obsessed with these bulky, oh-so-plush and irresistible yarns, but they're relatively hard to find (at least compared to other scratchier acrylics out there)So next time I go yarn shopping, if I'm looking for something like those two brands with that same super soft.
You're trying to sink the button shank into the fabric? You will not be buttoning it through anything? Use a blunt awl to push the yarns apart, then sink the shank and sewOr make a small worked eyelet, then sink the shank and sewOr remove the shank and attach it by any of a number of adhesives.
