I am really wanting to start an online childs clothing store. I have no idea how to sew or anything so I was wondering if there was a way to put merchandise on the website that comes from somewhere that has to be shipped? But I would be able to make money off of it as well? I am not really sure how to explain it but if you know what I am talking about then any advice would be much appreciated!
The model where you've seen a heavier object pull down on a fabric to show how it bends spacetime are in fact, just models. They collapse several spatial dimensions down into 2. The sun's gravity doesn't punch a hole into spacetime. It only warps it (symmetrically in all 3 dimensions) in a way that makes objects take a curved path through it. 1. Again, the rubber-sheet model is an analogy. The sun's influence is symmetric in all 3 spacial dimensions, so there's no reason for any plane to be shifted. 2. Objects can orbit the sun in any plane. The only reason they don't tend to in the solar system is that out-of-plane orbits tend to cause collisions. In the main portion of the solar system, Jupiter and the other planets would have removed anything like this. In the outer solar system, things move so slowly that even out-of-plane orbits can exist for a very long time.
