Question:

How to stop a hard-wired smoke detector from chirping?

I had this problem late last year/early this year. The chirping stopped by itselfseveral months have passed with no chirping and now it's started again. I have 3 detectors only one is chirping.

Answer:

It's nice, and I like it. But, what I really like is the way that you spelled Katheryn. It looks much nicer that Katherine or Catherine. ]
In Kansas we only have three major bugs. 1. The mustard bug—makes a big yellow splat, but it's relatively harmless. 2. The epoxy bug—tiny little sucker that sticks to a plastic windshield or visor like glue and if not removed in a timely manner, will become a permanent part of your rolling stock 3. The bullet bug— this is the one that HURTS! It's usually going about Mach 1.5 and always in the opposite direction of any motorcycle in the area. It also has an insanely high suicide rate. Getting clipped in the knee by one of these has been known to make guys buy those electric shifters, cause their leg won't work anymore(I'm not counting the mashed potato bug, which is also found in ArkansasK ;o)
