Question:

How to tell if my axle is bent ?

I spun around in the snow and really bent my rim pretty bad after replacing the rim I still have a squealing coming from that wheel. I just changed the brakes, rotors and e-brake pads they are rear disc‘s so the e-brake is separate. The first day there was no noise then the next day the squeal was back. If I have to change the axle how hard is it.

Answer:

Vehicles have a large variety of systems. You should specify make, year and model, if you expect any constructive help.
Make your wheels and steering wheel straight and go into a straight line. If your axle is perfectly straight, theoretically you would go straight. If your axle is bent, it will slightly swerve left or right. Replacing an axle is very difficult to do yourself, and getting it done at a mechanic would run you about $1000 per axle.
