Question:

how to test if motorcycle battery is charged without multimeter?

would like to know if my battery is working because motorcycle doesnt turn on at all

Answer:

I have a '96 SS. I have had a few mutations of the original exhaust system, including no mufflers, and my wife drove it to work like that. I am the original owner. I currently have a DynoMax 2 1/2inch cat back on it now. I like the sound, but if the stainless mufflers ever crap out, I'll put Flowmasters in there. I would also recommend an X pipe. It will tone down the exhaust pulses and increase the torque a bit. Good luck.
I had a Borla System on a '95 Impala SS and loved it. Not too loud, great looks, good performance, and great tone. Unfortunatly not cheap. I think I paid about $850 and that was ten years ago.
I own a shop, and it was my impression that the 96 Impala SS came from the factory with a performance exhaust system. You are going to be hard pressed to get much performance with a quiet system, but I do agree that Flowmaster makes the best sounding/performing mufflers. If you wish to go to a company that makes the whole system, then you would want to check out MagnaFlow, or SLP. Magnaflow has a system for yours for $389.99 and up. Glad to help out, good luck!!!
Your lights can still work on a battery that doesn't have a full charge. If the lights work, but it doesn't start, the battery needs to be replaced as it isn't putting enough amps.
Do the head lights, tail lights, and brake light work? If they do, the battery has at least some charge. If they dim a lot (or go out) when you hit the starter, that would indicate a very low state of charge.
