Find the most annoying alarm on your phone that you can, if you have more than one alarm that can be set, set all of them. Also, get a physical alarm clock that has a few different settings, and set all of them at 4 minute intervals. If you're like me and just can't help but hit snooze, this will annoy you so much that you'll just want to get up anyway.
Winter riding is a blast; a 'beat up' road bike is not the best choice however. Get a used mountain bike or cross bike so you can put on some meats for traction. I use the Nokian Gazza Extreme 294 studded tires up here in MN and this winter has been perfect for them; lots of snow / ice.
