I'm looking for a leather sofa of good quality that will withstand the scratches that may come from having a dog. I've found nice looking sofas at JcPenney but I've also found sofas of a high grade from sofaweb . These sofas are, of course, A LOT more money. Is it worth it OR are leather sofas from JcPenney of a high enough grade to hold up well over time? I'm specifically looking at the Linden Street Langley sofa.

No better, or worse, than any other retailer in the same price bracket. JC Penney doesn't make sofas. They only sell them.. If you want a better answer, research the manufacturer.
