Question:

i added dot 3 fluid to a dot 5 brake system ?

i added dot 3 brake fluid to a dot brake system. now what ?

Answer:

it is a wheel aliment problem, it not real a major problem, just make sure the steering wheel is straight next time U get Ur wheels aligned
Some can be adjusted, depending on your car, But this is usually caused when you get a front end alignment and the tech doesn't get your wheel straight. Some cars you can pull the wheel off and move it a couple of notches, but if its too much it will screw up where your blinkers cancel
DOT 5 or DOT 5.1? 5.1 is glycol-based and compatible, so that would not be a big deal, though not ideal. DOT 5 is silicone-based and will not disperse moisture, so there would be a risk that moisture in the DOT 3 fluid would not be dispersed, but that's not a major issue. If your vehicle has ABS, then it's NOT DOT 5, as that is not compatible with ABS, it's DOT 5.1. Either way, it's not a disaster, but an eventual flush would be a good idea.
