Question:

I am Celiac and have IBS I find I cannot eat hardly any veggies or fruits without getting horrible gas.?

and stomach disturbances (noises/cramping)What do you recommend I should do? If it possible I should take an enzyme supplement to help digest the fiber? (P.SI take tons of pro-biotics and other vitamins to help since I take nearly no veggies or fruits).

Answer:

I was in the same situation due to obstructive crohn's diseaseNothing I could do about the stomach disturbances - you have to just laugh those offWhen in a meeting I would make a jokeOften people attribute those noises to hunger, go with the flow on thatI ended up having to drink my veggies and fruit in the form of juicesTry oatmeal if you can tolerate itOatmeal is soluble fiber and easier on your systemYou can also take gas reducers to help break up the bubbles allowing you to pass it more easily - of course this can be embarassing since you will have to pass itGood luck!
See if your elecrric company will do an energy survey, They do them here and they give you coupons to incourage people to get extra insulationlt's free and could save you a lot of moneyGood Luck
it would probly be cheaper to just get rolls of insulation instead of blowing it inand it would save you alot on your cooling bill and in a few months it will do the same for your heating bill
I added 14 inches of blown in insulation last fall it payed for itself in two monthsThis summer I have noticed the house does not get as hot as it did in years pastIf I was going to put a tag on the savings it would be about 600 over the last 9 months.
