I am moving into a new house with 9 ft plus ceilings. One of the smoke detectors is chirping at me, I am sure because of low battery. Right now I don't have the means to reach it because of the high ceilings. How long will the chirping last? Do I really have to go out today to buy a tall step ladder or find someone to climb up there? Or will it burn itself out within a few hours? (By the way, not sure how long it's been chirping. I haven't been here for a few days.)

They are pretty accurate but only an actual labratory analysis is acceptable as evidence in court! I carry such field tests and use thembut still have to send any drug evidence to the forensics lab! Under a Missouri statute, the bong, pipes, and other smoking paraphernalia become illegal if an individual knows or reasonably should know that they will be used for illicit drugs. In my own state, even if there were residue in the pipethere would only be a charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. It seems Missouri is cracking down a bit and it's POSSIBLE if the test of the residue comes back as marijuanathey will charge you with Possession of Paraphernalia AND possibly Possession of Marijuana.
