Question:

Car has alarm but no remote for it?

I bought a used car and from what I see it has a full alarm system in it. When I bought it there was no remote for the system. Can I just buy a new remote for it? Also I don‘t know what type or brand the alarm system is, does that matter?

Answer:

My advice is to get something to cook with that's made with Iron. Nothing with non-stick cooking. A nice old fashion Iron skillet. It's my favorite thing to cook with. A good old fashion Wok will do as will. Cook something acidic. The best is tomatoes. The acid would disolve some of the iron on the pot and your body will absorb it.
Beans and nuts are much better sources of iron because they are more concentrated. Pine nuts are an excellent source, as are sunflower seeds. Yeah, vitamin C is essential to enhancing iron's conversion to a bioavailable form. Don't drink tea with meals. Tannins bind iron.
One of the best iron sources is whole grain products. For example, breakfast cereal. You should eat vitamin C at the same time to help your body absorb the iron. Also, beans and lentils are good too.
What leads you to believe that it has a full alarm system in it? Can you see components of the alarm? Is it an aftermarket system or is it one that came factory installed? If you can see components of the alarm, you should be able to find the main unit, which would have a model number and manufacturer printed on it. I'm certain that you could order a new remote from either the dealer if its factory installed, or from the manufacturer if it is an aftermarket alarm. But I'm also certain that you would need to figure out which brand it is first. Hope this helps!
1. Yes you can buy a new remote if it does have an alarm system installed in it. 2. Yes it will matter but you can look under the dash for a small back box and you should be able to see the manufacturers name on it. 3. Then you find an alarm shop in your area and check a price on it. 4. Having it reprogrammed for you alarm system is not a big deal at all.
