Question:

i can land a kickflip in the grass 40% of the time and now i really cant land it on the cement?

i am having alotta trouble on the cement like i cant get both feet back on the board.any tips?

Answer:

probly because in grass your more confedent because you did it lots of times and mabye because the grass was slippery 20% of the time or so.
One problem could be that you arent as confident as you are in the grass because you think that you might hurt yourself.
I must adjust your kick flip on cement because your board will move more compared to grass. Another reason could be mental. You might be sabotaging yourself by over thinking it. I would recommend tightening your wheels so the have less movement while your practicing your kick flip.
Well try practicing on the cement only from now on so you can get used to the motion of the cement. Also just commit. A lot of it is ether fear or just loss of commitment. Grass has no motion in it so you have to get used to the rolling motion of the cement for a while and then keep trying the kickflip but dont do it in grass it will just ruin your ability to do it on the cement. You can do it in the grass again after you land it once on the cement because the grass just really ruins your skills at landing it because you have to be able to land with motion and movement. Not just landing and sticking there.
try it on a smoother platform....wood? maybe. try using sneakers or some sort of a shoe that has a rubbery feel on the bottom. because, the concrete here is very scratchy and has many bumps. it gets annoying i cant even stand on a skateboard without hurting 1 part of my body here. haha. tried it. lol
