i have 3 mali uromastyx and i know what i am doing right now they are on sifted playsand and they like it and they are eating good and basking is hot enough but i was wondering if excavator clay burrowing subsrate is good for them they love to dig ALOT and the holes dont stay open so i was wondering if it is safe thank you
i use it for mine, just make sure it stays sorta moist
now i had that very same question a few weeks ago and i asked the guy that is helping em with mine and he says its not teh best. uro's arent the brightest and may try to eat that stuff so it isnt recomended. i was really tempted to do that tho. it seemed like a great idea for mine. its jsut a shame.
